My love affair with chocolate brown continues and this week, I am pairing it with pink.
I found these Contrast Trainers from Zara online and I am completely in love. I have styled several of my clients in them and the verdict is unanimous: incredibly comfortable. A flat sneaker in this colour is one of the easiest ways to bring in brown without committing to a boot.
Already own wide-leg soft trousers? You can create the balloon shape yourself, no shopping required. Thread a thin rubber elastic through the hem and turn it under. Instant volume, neat at the ankle. It looks expensive and takes two minutes.
The balloon trouser is the shape of the season, full through the thigh, tapering beautifully at the ankle. If you haven’t tried this silhouette yet, now is the time.
And the cardigan, one of the most useful things in a wardrobe right now. Wear it buttoned up as a sweater, or leave it open and layer a fitted long-sleeve underneath. Two completely different looks, one piece.
