A Little Different This Week
But Absolutely Worth It
I know, I know, this isn’t my usual fashion post but when a trip is this good, I simply have to share. And honestly? If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special, keep reading.
My husband has a big milestone birthday coming up, and we decided to mark it properly. So off we went to Azura Marlin Beach in Mozambique, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was absolute heaven.
We spent 6 nights there. Six glorious, completely disconnected, lazy nights. I got through two books, swam in the warmest, clearest ocean. Had breakfast, lunch and supper taken care of and every evening at 5pm, without fail, sunset cocktails. I came home practically comatose, and I am not the least bit sorry about it.
The weather was exceptional at 26-28 degrees daily in May nogal, that I wore only cossies and summer clothes – not a puffer jacket in site. If you’ve been looking for a warm winter escape that doesn’t require a long-haul flight, this is it.
The absolute highlight is the Two Mile Reef snorkelling trip with a beach picnic.
Do not skip this. It is the kind of experience that stays with you.
A little beauty note before I go:
I used my Nuxe SPF 50 throughout the trip for sun protection while still getting that beautiful golden colour, and the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse roll-on oil after every shower for the most gorgeous glow. Both are firm favourites of mine and performed beautifully in that heat and humidity.
Thinking of planning a trip? Drop me a message, I’m always happy to share notes and a wardrobe to pack!
Yours in fashion,
Julie
