Some fabulous finds on a recent shopping outing
Ladies, there’s nothing quite like stepping into a store, touching the fabrics, and seeing how a piece really works with your body. While online browsing is fun, I find the magic happens when you can actually feel the quality and try the fit in person.
With Spring officially here, I’ve been on the hunt for some of the season’s fresh new arrivals. I recently popped into the V&A Waterfront to explore what’s in-store at Zara, H&M, Country Road, and even spotted some absolute gems at Foschini. And let me tell you, there are some fabulous finds you’ll want on your radar this season!
At H&M, I came across a variety of pieces that are perfect for refreshing your wardrobe this Spring. First up, a classic cream knit, the kind of versatile staple that pairs beautifully with jeans for a casual look or can be thrown over a summer dress for an effortless layer.
I also spotted a denim skirt, which felt like a rare gem. Finding one that fits well, feels comfortable, and is made with good quality fabric isn’t always easy, but this one really stood out as a great option.
And finally, a chic animal print shirt dress. It’s lightweight, super easy to wear, and the print is subtle enough to feel stylish without being overwhelming, ideal as we transition into Summer.
It’s safe to say there are some exciting new pieces in-store right now, and H&M definitely has some wardrobe-worthy options for the season ahead.
Now, you may have seen my recent post about these chocolate brown barrel-leg pants from Zara, but they are honestly such a gem. The fit is flattering, versatile, and right on trend for the season. To add a fresh touch of Spring, I paired them with two gorgeous butter yellow tops, also from Zara.
The first option is a soft knit, perfect for those cooler mornings or evenings, while the second is a crisp cotton shirt, ideal if you’re looking for something a little more polished and formal. Together, the chocolate brown and butter yellow colour combo creates such a chic, modern look that feels both stylish and wearable as we transition into the warmer months.
To round things off, I also came across two stunning dresses online at Bash, and decided to pop into Foschini to feel the quality in person, and I wasn’t disappointed. Both are fantastic options for this season.
The first is a classic shirt dress, perfect if you’re a monotone lover. While the fabric is a little stiffer than the second option, it features a lovely belt detail that really cinches in the waist and creates a flattering silhouette.
The second dress is one of my favourites. It’s beautifully simple, but the white piping detail instantly adds an elegant touch. Made from a soft cotton blend, it’s light, comfortable, and a timeless addition to your Spring wardrobe.
