‘What I am Wearing’ Summer 2019 Edition – Explosion of Colour
This summer is all about an explosion of colour, so don’t be shy ladies and embrace this colour trend. The options are limitless, so even if you love colour but you are not sure you can pull it off; make use of colour in your accessories such as scarves, bags, shoes and belts.
This gorgeous natural linen dress in coral from Habits just screams summer (it also comes in white if you prefer something less colourful). I just love the loose fit and the way it flows, keeping me cool and looking feminine. I’ve kept my shoes from Julz Shoes and bag, also from Julz Shoes, neutral so the coral dress can do all the talking. Not to mention, I’m especially loving the metallic gold trend this season, which acts as the perfect neutral against a variety of colours.
I’ve teamed the dress with a stunning chunky turquoise necklace from Beryl Dingemans. I just love how the coral and turquoise off set each other, giving some depth to the look. Then, I’ve chosen a beautiful pair of beaded earrings with more turquoise and some orange detailing from Jenny Twigg. Lastly, summer wouldn’t be complete without some stylish sunglasses; mine are from Select Sunglasses.
Be bold and wear bright with bright like I have done with these funky stripy pants and coral top from Iconic. If you’re a bit less daring, you can tone the pants down by combining a plain white vest or t-shirt with them. Don’t forget you can order this fluted sleeve viscose t-shirt in 4 different colours from my online store ladies!
I’ve teamed this look with a simple pair of thong sandals from Poetry, giving the look that beachy feel. To accessorise, I’ve chosen a chunky pair of white floral earrings from Poetry, which adds to that fun summer feeling. Lastly, the sunglasses are from Select Sunglasses and give the look an overall sense of stylishness.
