Scarves are a fabulous accessory for the winter season ladies. Besides the fact that they keep you warm; you can mix and match different styles and fabrics for various occasions, you can wear them in numerous ways, and they can liven up and transform your outfit. I absolutely love to complete a winter outfit with a beautiful scarf.

'What I am Wearing' Series - The Scarf from Off The Rails Fashionista

The stunning check scarf from Flaunt that I’m featuring is a great addition to a plain and simple outfit. The design adds an element of depth and the gorgeous pattern draws in the eye. The way I’m wearing the scarf here is just one of many ways you can wear it. This style, however, is great for giving your entire upper body some extra warmth and is also a fantastic substitute for a jersey.

The lovely leather bag from Poetry is a great all year round item. Leather is a fantastic long-lasting material and this one has a fabulous detailed pattern to go with it, which enhances the outfit.

The soft pink shirt from Flaunt is a staple piece to take through from summer to winter and is a wardrobe essential. The simplicity of the top enhances the scarf as a statement piece.

The check cap from Flaunt pairs wonderfully with the scarf. Both are check patterns but different styles allowing them to beautifully complement each other. Caps are super trendy this season ladies so get your hands on one to serve as a gorgeous accessory to your outfit.

The Jeans from Poetry are a wardrobe essential. The dark blue pairs well with various light and dark colours allowing you a wide selection to mix and match. In this case, the dark blue jeans pick up the darker colours in the scarf making for a well-balanced outfit.

No outfit would be complete without a pair of beautiful shoes, and during winter that often means a pair of boots. The gorgeous pair I’m featuring here are from Matsidiso. The ankle-high length works well with the jeans, which can be rolled up to sit just above the boots giving you a sophisticated look.

A special thanks to Kelli from Zampelli Hair Studio for making my hair look fabulous and Tryna Knock from Sorme Cosmetics for making my make-up look flawless.
