So the next pics of “what I am wearing” are below, I hope you are enjoying receiving these blog posts and that they are giving you ideas of what to wear even within your own existing wardrobe. I would love to hear back from you on whether this has helped you or not!
I tend to wear a lot of grey in winter especially in knitwear and jackets but the trick here is to bring in lots of different texture in your outfits so as not to make grey look flat and boring.
I bought this coat from Trenery at the beginning of the season and it is only cold enough now to start wearing it, long may winter last so I can get mileage out of it!! The check scarf is from Woolworths, faux leather leggings from http://innersecrets.co.za/, and pointy brogues from http://www.houseofcinnamon.com/ which I ordered from online.
Hopefully you might recall previous posts where I mentioned “key items” you need for winter and this knit blended tunic is just that from Country Road. You still need sunnies for the glare and I always buy mine from Select Sunglasses.
In this look I have teamed my Spanx jegging with tan boots, a white long sleeve t shirt, a chunky scarf knitted from alpaca wool from Chi Chi Alpacas and this slouchy grey cardi from http://www.madisonboutique.co.za/which is fabulous and warm.
I love this chunky knit jersey from Cotton On as you can dress it up with heels or down with sneakers and faux leather pants from Zara which gives the whole look an edgy feel.
These fabulous heels are from https://www.vincecamuto.com/ which I also wore at my winter fashion talk!
All photos were taken by AbigailK and you have to go check out her blog http://abigailk.co.za/blog/ as she has posted the rest of the pics of what I am wearing if you want a sneak preview!
