This is the time of year that I always start thinking about my swim wear, I look at my previous years gone by purchases and assess if they need an update. I usually do this every 2 years or so and I think about what I am going to be needing for the impending beach or river holidays over December/January season. I have been known to spend money on a good piece of swim wear but sometimes not. Last year I bought a lovely black one piece from a fashion retailer only to last me one season and bag out in all the wrong places and every time I dived or swam I was left practically topless!! Two weeks ago I did a shoot with Inner Secrets and Lana of Lanalou style blog but before that I went to see Roxy from Inner Secrets in Cavendish and spent a fun hour trying on various bathers and oh my word I fell in love with just about everything I tried on. They really stock some incredible international brands such as Gottex, Roidal and Sunseekers, something to suit everyone’s budget. It really is a worthwhile exercise to do if you are planning on buying your dream piece as Roxy has loads of experience and is very honest about what styles work best on your body shape. See below the first of a series of pics to follow.
Beautiful print and colour with a matching cover up, very chic and sophisticated.
I love the tie detail on this piece that follows thru on the cover up, very sexy. Both these items are from the Capri collection by Gottex.
This is your typical Miracle suit bather which does the trick of sucking in and holding everything in the right places. Shot on beautiful towels from Kikoi. All sunnies are from Debbie at Select Sunglasses, contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org. This piece is from the Canne collection by Roidal .
I do love it when the bather and wrap matches up in print as I feel it looks so tasteful and chic like these beautiful pieces from Inner Secrets. Earrings are from Queen Magpie. These items are from the Santiago collection by Gottex.
I loved this print, it was one of my favourites and I love the fact that it is a bandeau style but has a halter neck strap that can be removed. This pleated skirt is just the business when you step off the beach and into the bar with 2 sexy slits on the side! The bather is from the Aquatic collection by Rodial and the skirt is from Sunseekers.
