Have you noticed how the colour blue is making such a comeback this summer?

I love all shades of blue, it is a fresh and flattering colour for most woman to wear especially when combined with white. Take a look at some of the blue looks that are currently in stores right now.

The first look I’ve put together is simple, yet striking. This gorgeous blue and white stripe dress from Poetry is easy and fresh – it sits just below the knee and is in the new tiered style.
You can wear it as is with flats or, like I have done here, with tan leather plaited style heels from Julz Shoes. I’ve teamed it with a tan leather wrap belt which accentuates your waistline, also from Poetry. It’s the perfect go to for a brekkie out with the girls. You can even match your sunglasses and wear a navy pair like I have here from Select Sunglasses.

The second look is all about blue in prints. I am so loving skirts for a bit of a change and this one from Indian Summer is just so pretty with its ruched elasticated waist so you can wear it higher in your waist or lower on your hips. I have teamed it with a light grey lace cami and denim jacket (if you don’t have your denim jacket yet, hurry as this is a key item for summer and is also available from Indian Summer)! By adding some funky sneakers from Indian Summer, it gives this whole look some attitude.

Don’t forget how important your accessories are, I have kept my new style leather bag from Patina (email me for more info on this bag) in the nude and my sunglasses from Select Sunglasses in nude to match.
