I thought considering Monday was Women’s Day (cheers to us!), this would be a good time to recap where I am at.
After what feels like a really long year already with Covid and the cold weather, I am really looking forward to spring/summer and warmer weather.
I am very excitedly working away at creating a fresh and exciting new What Women Want range which will be launched in September. As many of you may have noticed there was no winter style workshop sadly but I am holding thumbs that we may eventually get to have one for summer later in the year. I have loved doing these events, especially the sense of satisfaction it gives me to help women look and feel fabulous.
Should you be interested in attending a possible summer event, please just hit reply on this email with a simple ‘yes’ to give me an indication of whether I should consider this?
With all this in mind, now is also a good time to start clearing out your winter wardrobe to make space for spring. If you have not worn some particular winter items by now it’s not likely you will going forward this season – so pack it away, sell it on or give to a charity! You could also give me a call if you need some advice or assistance on a wardrobe detox, either online or personally. See what I offer on my website.
Items to look for and keep as staples in your wardrobe to take you into summer are your:
Light coloured trench coat
Favourite denim jeans, white or milk jeans
Cream soft blouse
Basic coloured knits
A good jumpsuit
I always find the month of August so cold and boring, I tend to want to hibernate for a month. I also find that these items above is what I tend to wear (if I am not in my What Women Want trackie sets) in this in-between phase before colour explodes on the scene.
