A week or so ago I was approached by the owners of Melissa SA to introduce me to the Melissa (http://www.melissaza.co.za/en/) brand of shoes. I actually bought my very first pair of jelly pumps about 11 years ago before they had a standalone store or a big presence in SA. So I popped down to there Canal Walk store to see what they are all about. The footwear originates back to Sao Paolo, Brazil and has since become an international brand and is stocked in over 80 countries. It is made from 100% recyclable plastic, it’s eco-friendly, comfortable and they come in a variety of fabulous styles. Melissa also collaborates with international designers such as Vivienne Westwood and most recently Jason Wu.

And this is the pair I walked away with, a classic black (http://www.melissaza.co.za/en/loja/6231-jason-wu-+-melissa-ultragirl-detail.html) pump with gold detail designed by Jason Wu. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear them. Watch out for spring styling shots with these fab pumps.
