So ladies these are the final images from my summer 2017 fashion event below.
I am sure you are aware that pink in all it’s shades of glory is the “it” colour for summer. Here I have teamed soft pink with blues, neutral and cream. Cream blazer, printed scarf, dress and necklaces are all from Poetry. Blue cardi and silk printed top from Molten in Salt River. Skirt from H&M, pink linen pants from WW and pink leather bucket bag from Willow Tree. Shoes all from Queue shoes.
I also love the combination of khaki green and pink, the khaki green just gives the pink which can be very girly a bit of an edge. Scarf, dress, pink t and necklace all from Poetry.
The combination of feminine and masculine styling, top & beaded necklace from Ruby Yaya, pants from Country Road, shoes from Queue.
Kaftans are all the rage at the moment and so easy to wear, this stunning green & blue combo is from Ruff Tung.
Another shade of pink and green combo, white shirt, pink shorts, white skirt, foliage dress, cerise pink top all from Poetry. Embroided top from Ruby Yaya, white jeans WW and genuine leather bag from Willow Tree.
Lindsy Bolus of Roots & Wings very bravely was my make over model for the evening. It is always beneficial to be able to see a before & after effect of what a little bit of make up, styled hair and clothes can do for one’s confidence. Make up was done by the talented artists from Sensai cosmetics who are available for consults at there counter in Edgars, V&A. Hair was styled by my favourite hair stylist Kelly of Zampelli. Don’t forget her special she runs only on a Thursday where she does a wash & blow for only R120. You will often find me here for an hour on Thursday!
The after outfit showed Lindsy in an easy to wear knit dress from Jo Martin of Silva Clothing, white leather sandals from Queue and a classic leather bag from Willow Tree.
