Have you started creating your capsule wardrobe for winter yet? If not, here are some basic items every women should have in her wardrobe.

In order to build a solid wardrobe foundation and take away that “I don’t know what to wear” feeling, you need to start with some core basics. This will guarantee that you always have something to wear even on those “bad hair days”!

A capsule wardrobe is not always the most exciting items but it does mean that you can hold on to them for that much longer as they won’t date as quickly. It also allows you the opportunity to build on that foundation by layering different items of clothing to create many looks in your own style with just the basics. The capsule items will also vary slightly between seasons.

Sometimes it can be a daunting task deciding where to start, but a good wardrobe detox can fix just that. With all the craziness over the past year, hitting reset is a great idea to declutter and start the season fresh, which is exactly what I’ve done.
