It is time for another installment of the a/w trends that I presented last week. I dont know about you but I absolutely love the colour grey. The trick though is to combine various shades and more importantly various textures of grey to stop it from looking flat and boring like I have done in the below grid. Things like accessories also help to make grey look more interesting. If grey is not your thing though then dont despair as there is shades of mid tone pastels to choose from.
50 shades of grey: grey, grey and more grey! There is a huge increase in knit dressing which works very well into this colour palette
Two tone jersey, knit dress, knit skirt, marled hat all CR at WW. Light grey pea coat from Foschini, leather bags from Willowtree, leather jacket from Bungalow designs, grey boots from Poetry, grey cable knit from Earth Addict.
Fairy & Fantasy: Soft pinks and greens in luxurious fabrics such as faux fur give this trend an ethereal element.
Soft green coat, cream jeans, faux fur jacket, pink jeans, pink necklace & light grey boot from WW; pearl jacket from Nicky Healy; jeans, 3 jerseys & lace up boots from Foschini. Leather bag from Willowtree designs.
