Hi ladies… here are some more styling tips on what to wear for this winter. The weather is turning and even though colour for winter is fabulous we certainly have some grey, rainy days coming our way this week, so stay warm and cosy in black, shades of grey and white.
The athleisure sporty look is still such a big trend with no signs of slowing down. What I love about this look is that you can look stylish as well as comfortable at the same time. These very comfy and thick “trakkie” bottoms are from Zara, I love the clean lines, tapered leg and the way it ends on the ankle.
I have mentioned before that it is important when wearing lots of grey to make sure you play with texture as well as introduce shades of grey so as not to look flat like I have done here. The different shades and textures work well together and even though you can add any fashion colour to this I have chosen to keep my t shirt from Signature Clothing white to match my all time favourite sneakers from Queue shoes.
The wool hat and cardi coat which hangs beautifully with deep side slits are both from Ilonja who will be showcasing at my pop up event on the 27th June so this is a great oppurtunity to come and shop as she doesn’t have a traditional shop where by to shop from.
Everyone needs at least one black jersey for winter and this one ticks all the boxes, batwing sleeves, loose but shapely and and in a beautiful mixed yarn, no acrylic here! Also from Ilonja and will be available to purchase at the pop up. I love to wear all black at times, so I teamed the knit with black Spanx jeggings from Inner Secrets who has also just launched an on-line shopping site which is very exciting if you live in the out lying areas and don’t have easy access to malls.
Everyone also has to have at least one genuine leather handbag that is a classic style like the one above from Willow Tree. If you are not the type to chop and change your bags like I am then this is the perfect classic style for you and you can purchase it on-line as well or at my pop up. The white bamboo scarf is part of an assortment of beautiful colours from Lilli who will also be showcasing at the pop up.
