Keeping Warm and Chic with Knits this Winter

Winter is just around the corner and with the changing season comes a change in our busy lifestyles. Say hello to crisp winter mornings, red wine by the fireplace, cosy nights in accompanied by fluffy socks and hot chocolate, and last but not least (and my personal favourite) comfy knitwear. When the cold weather hits, there is almost nothing better than spending your days in that snug knitted jersey, and great news! Knitwear is trending this winter.

Here’s a timeless, knitted pale grey jersey from Tokyo Laundry on Spree.co.za that I just love for it’s simplicity and versatility. Easily pair this neutral knit with a pair of jeans for a casual day out with friends, a day at the office with an A line skirt, or dress it up with a pair of heels for a night out. Your options are endless!

Another great item is this blue, chunky cable knit jersey from Woolworths brand RE. Perfect for those cold winter days spent outdoors or even just lounging around the house, either way it’s super easy to take this trendy piece from the comfort of your home to the world outside.

I’m all for this black cotton knit from Trenery. It’s a Transeasonal piece and a staple for every woman’s closet, as it can be dressed up or down. You’ll be able to keep yourself warm and look chic whilst doing it. Definitely a must for this winter season!

There will be a lot of choice for knitwear this winter, with various ways to wear and style it. These are just a few of my recommendations for you ladies to get your hands on to add to your winter wardrobe to keep you looking your best whilst beating that winter chill.

Yours in fashion
