Gladiator Sandals

Gladiator Sandals

If you have been into stores or picked up a fashion magazine lately you would have noticed that Gladiator sandals are all the rage at the moment. Now this is not a very easy look for everyone to carry off and there are so many different styles out there from short to half way up your knee, from tasseled to plain, it is a minefield! So if you are looking for one for yourself like I was I have done the homework for you! I went to a few shops yesterday in search of just the right one and also very importantly at just the right price because as you know this look will date so I didn’t want to spend a fortune on high fashion. My first choice on colour is definitely tan (black second) as I find tan suits the style and it’s easier to wear, gladiators look fabulous with short dresses and fits in perfectly with the whole boho look (see previous posts). Take a look at the styles below.

Gladiator Sandals from Offtherails

These are from Foschini and very well priced, I bought the one in the middle and wearing it today, cost R369 and it is in leather, bonus!

Gladiator Sandals from Offtherails

This one I also loved from Trenery but was R899, to expensive!

Gladiator Sandals from Offtherails

Also loved this one from Country Road but again to expensive at R999.

These half way up the knees style from Aldos are tricky and you seriously need good pins for these.

These are to Pocahantos for me, from Country Raod.

Not bad, I like these and definitely in the nude colourway from Aldos.

Gladiator Sandals from Offtherails

These are from WW, I like the touch of animal and well priced.

These are also not to over the top in styling from WW and at R250 it is a very good price but they are not in leather.

Gladiator Sandals from Offtherails

These from Cotton On are cute and well priced but in mock suede.

Also from Cotton On and styling is tasteful but maybe to simple.
